We have listened to the Griffin Riders for what they want in a bar, something simple, clutter free, easy to depower in light and strong winds, something that does not need a center line replaced every few months, side emergency release handles, simple push away release, spinning below the bar safety leash and top quality lines from France. We have an above bar depower system available, a problem with below the bar depower systems is in strong winds it can be hard and awkward to depower the kite reaching below the bar and can result in accidental releasing of the safety release, above the bar depower is a more natural and easier to depower system to use. The above bar depower is designed with a velcro back so you wont have flapping lines in your face when the strap is velcroes to the cleat.
The 2012 Griffin bar is avalable with above bar or below bar depower option.

Line Savers
The new bar now has extra long pre stretched leaders so save your lines from wearing out when the lines are crossed when kite looping or back rolling to prevent rubbing on them selves. The extra long leader lines doubles or triples your kite line use.
Flared Stainless Insert
The flared insert allows you to move the bar away from you and towards you whilst turning the kite without the bar jamming or locking power on.
Plastic Protected Center Line
The center line through the bar is thinner and protected by plastic, this allows for easy turning while powering or de powering the kite and maces the center line last many time longer than unprotected center lines. This reduces the center line from snapping and reduces the amount of times to replace the center line from normal unprotected center lines.
Push away Release
The push away release offers easy release of the kite if the bar is under pressure or no pressure, We have tested our release under heavy loads and the release works with little strength needed.
